The beauty of a painting is the process, what we discover along the way, from the layering of paints to finding what works as a composition.  How a painting evolves and bringing it to life is somewhat magical. 

As an artist, I usually observe my surroundings, whether it is how the sunlight hits the surface of a wall, the way a tree forms a unique shape or the expressions of people sitting in a coffee shop.

I bring my experiences, from places I have been, to the canvas, trying to capture the simple or subtle moments of life.
